I thought faxing was outdated, but some offices still ask for faxes. Why is that? Is it still considered secure or professional?

Funny enough, faxing hasn’t disappeared — it’s just evolved. Many industries like healthcare, law, and real estate still rely on faxing for secure document transfers. I work in real estate, and clients often prefer fax for sensitive contracts. It’s more traceable and less prone to tampering.
